No "teacher" declarations are needed
Proceeding slowly, take time to see what is indicated. It is not obtuse in any way.
Karen is right there with you every moment, without a waiver. |

Richard and Karen, you are both so beautiful, thank you for this sharing!
The "certainty" of what does not move is conditioned upon the moving. What moves is conditioned upon what does not move.
None can be without the other. That is the nature of perception and especially of the soul within perception.
What is beyond that? IT does not qualify as movement or no movement, that is for "certain"
HOW can Being move within itself, that seems to be the obvious question? This question does not separate "apparent movement" from the "certainty of non-movement". The search is on!
Seekers of the world unite - not for "finding" the Absolute, but for questioning IT, in self-awareness. Why do we need "certainty" to begin with? How about a truly open, subtle and sensitive mind, that can reflect the beauty of the integration of the relative (movement) with the absolute (no movement)? It is originating and creative in nature...
Call it "life" or "being", if you absolutely want to.

Hi Richard and Karen,
your attempts to make man understand his true nature is appreciated. Yet, there is a contradiction in what is said about awakening and what is offered. This is the understanding which has happened to Karen and nothing is wrong with it, but it does not make it clear to humanity!
Karen writes on her website that no teacher is necessary and on the same site offers a retreat with the teacher Christine. Here is what could be found on Karen's site:
http://www.karenmcphee.com/
"This is not a typical satsang gathering. This is not about perpetuating the spiritual seeking and practices. This is about ending the search."
"No additional time or spiritual practice is required. No external teacher is necessary. You are already this ever present awareness."
"Karen will be offering unsatsang gatherings monthly, starting on July 17 (August dates TBA). Karen and Christine Wushke will be co-hosting a retreat in the Calgary are on July 24 & 25th. For details see the Schedule page."
"Recommended :
Bliss Yoga with Christine Wushke. For details see Journey to Light."

And here is what could be found on Chistine's blog:
http://innerlightyoga.blogspot.com/ :
"Christine Wushke
is a certified yoga and meditation teacher with over 15 years of experience. Her aim is to create a sacred space for students to effortlessly find the presence of stillness and an inner silence."
"Gentle yoga poses, breathing techniques, and meditation skills are simply taught, to aid in deepening relaxation and inner peace. Learn the skills to improve your over all health and wellness."

Response: As a process of life the mind of man has been conditioned since he was a child. The mind is conditioned to believe that whatever thought appears is real. This conditioning is not an act done by the mind, it is Life which conditions the human mind, because Life makes the mind happen and not vice versa.
And as a process of life the mind of man gets de-conditioned through explanations that all known of the mind is illusory and not real. The illusory points to its own illusoriness. Pointing to the real is not possible, for real is real and could never be perceived. Man's true nature as the "un-changing reality" could never be perceived. Only the illusory could be perceived.
Understanding life is not about to end the search (Karen: "This is about ending the search"), it is about to understand the search as illusory. Trying to see the unchanging reality as Karen wants to teach in the video (and it is happening to her) is nothing but a spiritual deception to maintain the illusory world as real for man.

About this ending the search: It is such a dash to stop the seeking as if it were something "unhealthy".
Everytime we hear:Oh, nothing wrong with the search, but..." What about leaving this "but" out?
Actually maybe I kind of enjoy my seeking, maybe it is the most interesting thing to engage with in one`s life.
Often it is joined with a great suffering. So what, many other things in life are. Raising children e.g. is often both a joy and a suffering and we don`t say Oh, it`s all right, but...
Sometime it is about contemplating the mystery of Life so we`ve never "done" with it as long as we live.
Even worse is exhorting to stop the seeking by offering a "antidote": Just do that and you`ll stop seeking. If you, after taking it, still remain in distress, then: What`s wrong with me? I`d have stop my searching by now...
A better exhortation: take it easy and continue your searching as long as is needed and enjoy it if you can.
Hi Anna, just a bit more input:
Anna: A better exhortation: take it easy and continue your searching as long as is needed and enjoy it if you can.
Response: There is no choice in anything neither in stopping nor in continuing nor in enjoying or suffering.
The search, as everything, will be enjoyed, if an understanding happens that the mind is illusory and not real.
And the search does not stop because you found the "real"! The real could never be found or seen or perceived.
Advices like "You are the unchanging awareness in which everything appears. Just look, it is so ordinary that it is normally overlooked..." are misleading, for what you are could not perceive itself. As if the eye could see itself! And by the way, man is not the doer and therefore could not "look" as an act of will.
The real is unchanging and reflects itself as the illusory. Only the ever changing illusory could be perceived, not the unchanging real. The ego takes thoughts to be real, consciousness as the witness understands thoughts as sound which only appears as words with meanings.
Spiritual dreams are born out of "looking at the real/true nature of man"! Quote Dr. Shankar: "The capacity of the mind to imagine is unimaginable!"

Thanks for the input Marcus.
No, of course there is no choice, this is perfectly clear.
At the same time, for the same reason I`ve posted my comment like you did yours.
Isn`t this quite amusing when you consider the way everything arises by itself?
Enjoying the illusory show happens!
Anna: At the same time, for the same reason I`ve posted my comment like you did yours.
Response: Reasons are illusory.
Anna: Isn`t this quite amusing when you consider the way everything arises by itself?
Dear Anna,
yes, enjoying the illusory show happens.
Love, Marcus
