Guru Swami G brings a breath of Clarity
The Guru is here to work one-on-one
Swami G gave me clarity on something that had troubled me. I was painting a picture where so few people are impacted by this teaching. Why is that? It is just not her job (or that of the Guru) to reach any so-called masses. The guru is an offering to work one-on-one with sincere people desiring a greater understanding about life. Reaching the masses, and finding a new languaging is a job for Never Not Here, and for you, when you share your experience and how it has effected your life. "Straight answers" to many questions

Swami G: Chattering mind disappears
Response: The chattering mind is sound and does not exist as a reality to disappear. The comparison of more or less chattering is also an illusory thought. No-mind is the understanding of thoughts as sound. If thoughts are absent there is no-one present to recognize it. The recognition of the absence of thoughts is a thought to the ego.

Namaste,
Thank you Guruji and Richard for this broadcast. It is such grace to have Guruji clarify some of the more confusing and paradoxical aspects of the spiritual journey. It's very helpful and much appreciated!
Om Shanti,

A beautiful dialogue Richard!
Interesting about the different stages of realisation, which we do not hear so often nowadays, specially in advaita.
I remember a Tibetan paper where different stages of realization were described and also who should reach them.
The categories the disciples were divided in were from the lowest for those less intelligent to the highest for the most endowed.
Swami G said that after reaching this realization everything changes and yet nothing changes.
We certainly had heard that many times.
But then she added that the chattering mind had disappeared.
So then some changing happend in any case.
Could it be connected with the stages of realization?
The lower should be then the chattering mind still being there, but we can watch it.
The higher should be no mind at all?
I wonder what on earth Dr. Shankar would say about that...
I can almost hear his comment.
Dr. Shankar responds to Anna.
Anna: Swami G said that after reaching this realization everything changes and yet nothing changes.
Response Dr. Shankar: Nothing changes because everything changes in the moment which is timeless. There has been nothing in the moment so that it could change, for only energy has been in the moment constantly and spontaneously changing in the eternal moment.
Anna: Could it be connected with the stages of realization?
The lower should be then the chattering mind still being there, but we can watch it.
The higher should be no mind at all?
I wonder what on earth Dr. Shankar would say about that...
I can almost hear his comment.
Response Dr. Shankar: Reaching stages implies a doer, and a doer is not present in the moment. Mind does not disappear, for it has never been present for it to disappear.
