Our Meeting with Ramesh

We met Ramesh on Sunday Nov. 16th 2008

To me Ramesh`s teaching has a huge value in practical life. It is not theoretical at all, just everyday-simpel, clear and profound. His reasoning about e.g. free will is razor-sharp. If one realizes the deep meaning of his words, how we should liv our life harmoniously, we understand the great value of his teaching. It is genuine practical advaita, accessible to everyone.
Thank you Richard. I agree with Wim: This video is a real jewel!!!

About the Ramesh Video

Hey all,

I saw this video a few weeks ago. At first I thought it didn't have much practical value but after a few weeks something clicked. It's funny how these pointers sink in slowly.

Hello Richard,

Today I saw the movie with Ramesh Balsekar from 2008.

This movie is a real jewel amongst the other movies.
I think it must have a special please on your website.
You have interviewed a lot of so cold persons that are telling he or she is enlightened.
This interview with Ramesh proofs how silly all these words about enlightened are.

What a beautiful tribute! Thank you Richard. I had not seen Ramesh in years. He was wonderful. I enjoyed this immensely.

Very nice to see this. Ramesh was a wise and humble man. (I am aware that he might not have agreed to this himself) I can resonate with his teaching on a sensory level. I can't take 'everything is cosmic law' literally and apply it in daily life though. For me this would be too philosophical. I guess there is a cultural difference. Ramesh had a sense that predestination exists from his youth. I grew up in western society were this is not a common idea. So not so much practical value, but nevertheless I have deep respect and gratitude for this man and the interview.
