Meet Graham Pritchard
![]() Graham Pritchard began the serious study of meditation in 1976. In 1991 he began to study Chinese internal martial arts. Initially he studied in a rare and traditional system known as Wu-Ji. This 5,000-year-old internal martial art can be traced back to the Shaolin temple in China.
After over 4 years of studying Wu-Ji Graham found Yang style Tai Chi and immersed himself in this study under the expert tuition of Tai Chi and Kung Fu Gold medallist Andrew Austin.
Now, with over 18 years of practice of internal arts he continues to study with his teacher and other famous Tai Chi masters. |

Graham Pritchard, the Body is a gateway
Graham watches the body very carfully as a Tai Chi master and sports therapist.
I felt great interest when he spoke of the "pushing hands" interactions, where two tai chi participants become one motion. Isn't that what we do (perhaps unsuccessfully) when we probe each other's boundaries and try to perfect our worldly relationships? Is there a way we could do that more mindfully? |
