Summer "Quiet Time"
Where are all the new videos on Never Not Here? Am I on strike?
I lived in Italy more than a decade, so maybe I am part Mediterranean by now. I love the heat of the summer and I like to be out and enjoying it. One thing we are putting our time toward is our garden.
I thought that I wanted to share it. So here is what it looks like so far this year. (You can tell us what you are doing this summer.)
Hi Richard,
Good to see you're having a good time at home. It looks like you're self-sustaining.. or close to it anyway. Now all you need is some cattle, a big windmill for power, and umm, welli guess you'll still need to connect to the internet, so there's still a little bit of dependency.
I'm wondering about the water mixers.. what exactly do they mix? Do they filter out the fluoride fron the water?
Anyway.. love the garden, the flowers and the veggies :) Enjoy your time 'off', and make sure not to get burned by the sun :)
Cheers,
Peter
Ahh, I was wondering what you were up to. I really enjoyed the tour of your house and garden. And I am very curious about those secret water machines! Ha. Glad you are taking time to just watch the flowers grow.
But you must know, I too feel you are a part of my life in a strange way. I so often come to the website to see what is new. Your website has enriched my life Richard.
Glad to see you are well and enjoying life.
What more is there!!
Cheers Jim
Thank you for this very sweet video indeed. Very nice to see Richard flowing with life. Yes,being and doing are not different things. Books are being read, doors are being fixed, the garden is being tended. Interviews are being made. Yes,the ordinary is extraordinary. It is 100 degree right now here in Washington DC.
What a beautiful garden!
Vera
Dear Richard
Thank you for sharing your summer holyday-strike through this wonderful sweet video!
Actually I was really wondering where you hid yourself: I can`t remember you being "away" for so long time before.
I am really happy that you took this break doing things like gardening, reading etc.
By the way - what a gorgeus garden! In spite of living myself by the Mediterranean Sea with a pretty big garden, there is only grass growing in it, but we do not deserve any better since we are so awfully lazy. And the country I occasionally live in has also lately been called Slow-venia :).
In the meantime, while I was waiting for new videos, I occasionally visited other sites, but I didn`t feel so much at home there so I went back to NNH all the time, constantly watching like an astronomer the sky to discover new Supernovas or some new exciting Planet.
So thanks again for your summer video!
Love
Anna
It is kind of dynamite.
