In less than a month there is a notable difference in our visitor statistics, double than when we had daily broadcasts in October. In my understanding, the new site is creating lots of interest.

1. Have you tried to go in the Live Chat Room? Although there is always someone on the site, they are not always signed in, nor do they always open the chat window. What I do is open the chat in a separate window and set is aside. Then if someone opens, they come on, and I say hi.

2. I was thinking to make an forum area for "user blogs", where you could have a periodic column under your name. Like a thought for the week, or poems, or just explaining the unfolding of something that you are involved with. I think we can give you image uploads and probably code embeds so that you could include a video of yourself or of your favorite person. Please contact me. So far we have Kedarvideo that has started one.

3. How about having a category, "reader's club", or book club? Each book of interest could have its own forum thread, and you and your friends could comment on each chapter, week by week, or the interesting points you found or questions it raised. Maybe people from all over would have the book and join in, or start re-reading the book and following along with you.

4. Let's hear some of your suggestions?

About replying (and the way old and new post are sometimes mixed up.)

It seems in order for the posts to be shown chronologically, you have to reply via the ´reply´-button under the last post. And not on the button below left that says ´post reply.´ To me that button isn´t really useful. If you push that button your post will be shown under the start post.

Something else: how do I nót get a subject title? It seems I have to make a title, or else the first part of the first sentence is shown as a title. (now I just filled in a little bar, so it doesn´t really bother me)

edit: this isn´t the right topic for my remarks - I overlooked that yesterday.

REPLIES RUN CHRONOLOGICAL, NEWEST ON TOP

There gets to be a lot of reply buttons. Your intention might be to reply to one of the replies, and then your comment is inserted under that particular reply (slightly indented). Now I have replied to your reply, which puts me under you. This mixes up the pure date flow as seen from the top, but my intention was to relate to your one particular reply.

The big reply buttons to the left, top and bottom, refer to replying to the original post. Then it will appear on top of the replies as the latest one in the list.

I capitalized my title here, to see where it lands as a first sentence in a reply. To get a real title you need to initiate a new post.

For new Forum subjects, ask in this forum topic or email me.

Thanks
