That which is created and perceived, is that which is impermanent.

That which is prior to creating and perceiving, is that which is forever present.

Thus being and becoming seem separate, but one is inherent within the other.

Only in their apparent separation, does the absence of either become possible.

As such, we attach to one only at the dismissal and ignorance of the other.

In that apparent separation, begins the seeking for what seems absent.

Some embrace the relative, and dismiss the absolute as irrelevant.

Some embrace the absolute, and dismiss the relative as illusion.

To those who dismiss the illusion, or the absolute, embrace each like a lover.

The play of yin and yang, the dance of Shiva and Shakti, are as inseparable lovers.

That play is our play-ground ... that dance is all that is ... that truth is all that we are.

It is not hidden or removed from us, but rather, like a playful child, we hide from it.

To know this truth, is to look no further than the experience of this actual moment.

To live this truth, is to be naked in the light of unconditional consciousness and love.

In the simple act of being totally open, here and now, we are perfectly complete.

Lacking nothing, effortlessly alive and aware, we may surrender to whatever is.

We trust that whatever happens, however it may appear, has its rightful purpose.

We know, beyond any and all doubt, that what we truly are is forever available.

It can never be negated, lost, or taken away, and we inevitably return unto it.

Thus, in life’s crucible of ineffable mystery, without denial or expectation, we are free.

Thoughts freely arise, thoughts freely fall away, in the dream that we are not a dream.

Commendable observation

21 thoughts too many?

Each line appears to be an epiphany in itself.

Each one a potential source of illumination from the perspective of complete, or even partial, darkness.

What is the power of 21 candled insights? The answer, if there is an answer, probably depends on the recipient of the light rather than the candle light itself.

However it may be I appreciate the effort of steel striking flint and whether 21 sparks makes a fire in the mind is entirely up to the reader.

Yes, I like the candle/thought analogy: they generate 'hot air,' eventually melt away, and must be extinguished ... lol.

And yet they too serve their rightful purpose.

But the torchbearer shouldn't become attached to the torch, or mistake it for its source.

Thank you for your sharing yours.
