Interview with Florian Schlosser, taken on SAND10 Conference, San Rafael, CA
This video is a 30 minute interview, taken during the SAND Science & NonDuality Conference in San Rafael, California in Oct 2010. It covers 8 fundamental subjects on being consciousness, embodiment, resting, habitual functioning, identification, the sense of 'I', natural presence and oneness. Enjoy the exploration.
Collaborative Spiritual Growth
Do not limit yourself to one particular study of one particular religion or tradition. Not a single one is the Only True religion, not a single one has the sole monopoly on God’s Realization, and not a single one can claim to be the one that All people Must follow. In order to gain a real understanding of the spiritual tradition one practices, or the religion one follows a person should study world religions, and world traditions. By limiting yourself to the study of one particular religion, not necessarily the practice, a person is blinding their self to the larger picture of how God is working across the globe in all people, and how ALL of the ancient religions were born in the midst of an isolated environment, which abhorred and even feared outside influences within their local religion.
Amsterdam-NL, Meeting Truth with Florian & Julia
In this meeting, Florian and Julia invite participants to self inquiry and a direct recognition of who they truly are, as well as to explore in a uniquely grounded and simple way any unconscious belief patterns that determine our way of being in life. The meeting is an invitation to BE and EMBODY what we have understood and accomplished with our minds. In this we can bring the beauty and tremendous transformative power of NON-DUALITY into the depth of the body, and therefore into daily life. Transformation takes place at a cellular level as stress and fear energy in the nervous system dis- charges. Being consciousness includes taking part in the full activity of life as well as resting in the arms of the beloved. In living as an embodiment of consciousness nothing is excluded; everything is genuinely welcomed and embraced. Living as the space of awareness becomes our embodied reality in daily life, rooted in what we love the most: BEING FREE.

5-day Ladies-Retreat with Julia Schlosser, Mallorca-Spain
5-day LADIES RETREAT
Oct 19-23, 2011 on Mallorca, Spain
I am very happy to welcome you back for 5 days of consciously being and living together.
Being amongst women only creates a feeling of safety, a sense of togetherness and belonging - beautiful!
Such an opportunity to drop deeper into being a woman, get inspired and find out about the uniqueness of this expression.
How would your 'genuine you' show up in life without any concept, any expectation and any thought of what it should look like?
This Retreat will take place in our private home. The beauty and stillness of the place allows a resting and enjoyment, which supports the exploration beyond words. Of course it is not a seminar house, so only very limited space (for max 5-7 of us) is available.
Here the practicalities:
* Retreat fee €250, accommodation & full board €200
* start Wed 6pm with dinner, end Sun 2pm after lunch
* shared rooms available with en suite bathrooms, tent and extra beds if necessary
* transfer from the airport can be ordered (& shared) for €50 one way or rent (& share) a car
* food will be prepared by all of us together
All of us were touched by the depth and flow of the days we spent together last year in the Ladies Retreat.
I am sure also this year it is going to be a miraculous time.
Welcome, welcome, welcome!
LOVE Julia
7-day Silent Retreat with Florian & Julia Schlosser, Islamorada, Florida-Keys, USA
After an amazing experience in January 2011, we return for a
7-day SILENT RETREAT
@Islamorada, Florida keys, USA
November 14-21, 2011
This week for sure is going to be miraculous.
The La Siesta Resort is located on a fantastic 6 acre tropical island ocean front setting, providing exquisite food and beautiful accommodation.
The Retreat taking place in such a beautiful, old Florida style, laid-back location allows us to really relax from the daily routines and let go.
This is the ideal prerequisite to inquire into what we honor the most: being free, being ourselves and living fully embodied.
Be part of this amazing exploration! We recommend to register now, because only limited space is available.
For registration and further information contact Katia Vieira kcvieira@hotmail.com and see www.florianschlosser.com for more details.
There is Only One Thing to Do
Question: For more than 6 years now I have been 'doing' Self-inquiry to figure out: Who is the doer? When there is no I-thought, actions seem to happen on their own. No doer, like a sentence that has just been written down. Or as you state on your website, seeing/hearing/smelling is happening without an I doing it or thinking about the action. Only when there is a pre-thought such as 'I am now going to lift my right hand in the air', 'I' can see that that thought just happened out of nowhere. Not that the arm is moving or happening on its own accord. That is why the I is still in place, because it feels like I am the doer. So I am the doer and I am not the doer at the same time. This cannot be right and at the same time it feels like something is missing. Any suggestions to make the seeing clear? [Click 'Read More' for Nick's response]
Pinhole Perspective
I’m still surprised how many times I confuse my pinhole perspective for a view of the entire sky.
I note the problem as soon as I recognize I’ve fallen into third person narrative, i.e. “It’s surprising how many times people confuse their pinhole perspective as a view of the entire sky.”
“As long as individuals are embodied beings they are going to view consciousness from an individual point of view, from their own pinhole perspective . . .” Oooops, did it again!
As long as I am an expression of embodied awareness, all I can know is how the world appears to me and all I can express is how it appears to me. Not how it actually is.
“So I am surprised how often people try to persuade each other that their pinhole perspective is either the only perspective or is the correct perspective or . . . .” Drat! There I go again!
I guess I’m learning to live with the fact all I’m ever going to know of Absolute Reality is my pinhole perspective of IT even as I know I am a manifestation of Absolute Reality. And it’s a given that you don’t have to take my word or anybody else’s word for it.
And in the course of this embodied journey I really am interested in hearing how things look, feel, smell, and sound like from your embodied pinhole perspective.
Only This One is Fit ~ Mooji
"Only This One is Fit" ~ Mooji
By special request: The request for this story to be posted was made by someone who attended satsang the day of this recording, and was deeply touched by the story of the king. Also included in this video is the preceding dialogue; from the uncut DVD "Drop Yourself".
"Even the imagined life stands on the support of the universal support; but in the mind of consciousness, if it believes itself to be an individual, "doing", it comes into the dream of karma... The push, the impulse, of consciousness is to undress itself in this body of its dreaming. It's tired of sleep, it's tired of nightmares, it's tired of suffering!" (Mooji)
PS: the day after posting this video to YouTube, I received this message on Facebook from another friend who attended satsang when this video was recorded: "The next day a note came to Mooji with a question: ' why did you cry when telling the story yesterday ?' " "Because I was happy" said Mooji
Ode to Life~Resplendent Beauty
In lucid wakefulness
with eyes of innocence
we are freely given the
ancient wisdom
of maintaining this
untouchable sacredness
consciously, joyously
and steadfast.
Traversing the other side of the veil
only pure seeing remains.
Once again,
Om Mani Padme Hum,
the embodiment of compassion
invoked powerfully
and irreversible.
All is allowed
and gently, lovingly
tenderly embraced
yet wise discernment
happens in pure being,
deliciously and exquisitely
on its own accord–
no-doing, no doer.
Resting in the heartspace,
wonders upon wonders
open up
like the petals of
the flower of life,
consumed by the violet flame.
Angels and mermaids,
dolphins in the turquoise sea,
shimmering light
of pure enchantment
reflecting our
starry bodies
in the firmament
as on earth,
equanimity throughout.
Use your beautiful gifts
in selfless service to all.
As above, so below, still
holding eternally true.
Traveling freely between beloved
Mother Earth and
the magical Pleiades
on to Orion,
feeling the crystal grid
surrounding our planet
activated by
the ancient wisdom keepers
of the Sun and Moon pyramids.
Life’s vivacious freshness
now happening unhindered–
swim with its powerful current,
Are You Willing?
Are you willing to play the role the Whole has in Mind for you, no matter how big or small? Are you willing to have the experience you are having? Are you willing to see that the experience you are having serves your evolution and, in turn, the evolution of the Whole? What if you surrendered the struggle of making your life turn out a certain way and really experienced the life you are having right now—not the story about your life, but this moment free of that story?
Are you willing to age the way you are aging? Are you willing to have the amount of money you have in your bank account? Are you willing to move if you have to move or stay if you have to stay? Are you willing to be in a relationship if you are in one or not be in a relationship if you aren't? Are you willing to look the way you look? Are you willing to experience pain if that's what you are experiencing? Are you willing to feel lost or bad or confused or whatever you are feeling? Just for now. All we ever have to do is be willing, just for now, to have whatever experience we are having. When we are, the things that seem like a problem stop feeling like a problem, and we are able to experience the beauty and goodness of life.
What if all the things that were happening that you didn't like were okay with you? What would it take for those things to be okay? Isn't it something inside you that decides they aren't okay? What beliefs keep you from letting those things be okay? Does it do any good to decide that those things are not okay?
