WORKSHOP: “Healing Our Hearts through Sacred Service,” Pathways (3115 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, 612-822-9061), Sunday, Feb. 21, 1 - 5 pm, cost: $50/sliding fee scale. Many of us feel trapped in lives that do not provide enough depth, satisfaction or contentment. In this four hour workshop, Jennifer will lead participants into a journey of creative healing and the embrace of sacred service. Dr. Holt will talk about her own transformation as a result of working within hospices and with people incarcerated within the prison system, and discuss the miracles she witnessed as these beautiful souls engaged in healing by facing their pain, speaking their truths, and sharing their stories. Workshop participants will be encouraged to share their own stories of pain and transformation, and learn the beauty of "paying it forward" through volunteer work. The cost of the workshop will be $50 or sliding fee scale—no one will be turned away due to lack of funds but please register by calling Pathways in advance; space is limited.
